Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 features a time skip

Daredevil: Born Again returns to the silver screen with a third season despite its lackluster viewership during Season 2. The third season is set to adapt The Devil in Cell Block D, which sees Matt Murdock jailed for his vigilante actions and likely influencing cases as a lawyer, but more importantly, a time skip is apparently confirmed.

Marvel’s Brad Winderbaum confirmed a time skip is going to happen, but before you get your hopes too up, he also asserts it will be a “small time jump” and “not too significant.” He clarifies by noting it’s probably just a year or so.

“There will be a small time jump, but it’s not too significant. It’s not like we’re jumping ahead five years or anything. We’re probably jumping ahead a year or so, kind of like the real-life distance between seasons. And yeah, Fisk’s exile is its own story. So it’s fun watching these two characters be in their own places in season three.”

Regardless of the time frame, it’ll be interesting to see how Murdock’s handling life behind bars and those around him, no doubt holding grudges for his time as a secret vigilante. We have a feeling this might end up capturing a bigger audience than previous Daredevil: Born Again seasons, or at least it probably won’t lose a large chunk of its audience mid-way through.
