Prime Video declares Gen V is no more

‎ Gabriel Stanford-Reisinger
April 24, 2026

It seems Prime Video has declared Gen V is no more following its second season late last year. The series, which holds much of its popularity due to its parent IP, The Boys, concluded Season 2 in October 2025. That said, we’re likely to see these youthful supers again in future parts of the affectionately named VCU.

Prime Video has a fair bit of content on the horizon, ranging from The Boys Season 5, which will mark the end of the series, alongside a prequel series, Vought Rising, setting sights for release next year, and if that wasn’t enough, they also have another spin-off — The Boys: Mexico — in development.

Pardon the spoiler here, but the decision to continue the life of some of Gen V’s cast in the finale season makes sense considering the ending of Season 2. Perhaps this was the plan all along, but really we will probably never know.
