The indie adult animated musical comedy, Hazbin Hotel, has confirmed Season 5, which will also be its finale season. The series has so far launched two seasons, both of which hit high marks at Prime Video, alongside award nominations at various award ceremonies.
Series creator Vivienne Medrano was the first to reveal it during LVL UP Expo, which was quickly followed up by a statement on social media. She affirmed that she’s excited for the full series to come to its natural and “epic” conclusion, thanking Prime Video, the streaming service it’s housed on, for the partnership.
“I’m so thankful for how Prime Video has championed our vision at SpindleHorse, and I’m grateful for their partnership and commitment to bringing Hazbin Hotel to its epic conclusion. I’m so excited for fans to see how this story ends.”
What is Hazbin Hotel and when is Season 3?
Hazbin Hotel, created by and directed by Vivienne Medrano, is an adult animated dark comedy musical that stars Erika Henningsen as Charlie Morningstar, the bubbly princess of Hell who has taken it upon herself to try and help sinners reform in hopes of sending them to Heaven and ending the mass exterminations enacted by angels.
In a bid to better her chances, she enlists the help of Alastor, a powerful — and cunning — sinner, played by Amir Talai. She also has the help of her partner Vaggie/Vaggi, played by Stephanie Beatriz. Other people involved in the voice side of things include Keith David, Blake Roman, Christian Borle, Brandon Rogers, Patrick Stump, and more.
Season 3 is in the works, and based on scheduling of previous seasons, we suspect it’ll release this year, but at this time, there is no proper release date.
