Grown Ups 3 is officially a go

If you’ve spent much time in the world of comedies, you’ve probably heard of a handful of actors consisting of Adam Sandler, Kevin James, David Spade, Chris Rock, and more. Well, if you’re a fan of all of them, you probably know of the Grown Ups film line. Kicking off the scene in 2010, with a sequel launching to theaters in 2013. Now, a threequel is in the works at Netflix.

The new flick will see Sandler continue his starring role alongside inking the script, sharing the duty with Tim Herlihy, who has collaborated with the comedian on multiple occasions. Sandler, Jackie Sandler, Jack Giarraputo, and Herlihy will all act as producers while Kevin Grady and Judit Maull take the reigns as executive producers.

Grown Ups 3‘s plot is still under wraps, but is rumored, based on What’s On Netflix, to take place outside of the cast’s hometown and in a summer camp. The film will also supposedly start filming this summer across multiple different countries.

One of the details interestingly omitted, though, is whether or not any of the other cast will reprise their roles. We have a feeling they will, but only time will tell.
