Adam Scott tried to audition for Hellraiser 6 despite dying in previous entry

Adam Scott made his Hellraiser debut in 1996’s Hellraiser: Bloodline, but in the end, his character was met with an untimely demise, but even that wasn’t enough for him, as tried auditioning in 2002’s Hellraiser: Hellseeker.

In an interview on Late Night with Seth Meyers, promoting the recently released supernatural horror, Hokum, he ended up discussing how he ended up auditioning for the role, saying “maybe they wouldn’t notice.” You see, at the time, he needed more roles and his agent told him to audition for Hellseeker.

Things didn’t really go too well, though, as he had to kind of hide inside the waiting room, as a producer from the previous entry was nearby. In the end, he never got the role, but did say his role in Hellraiser: Bloodline was a significant early break even with all the issues he — and the film itself — faced along the way.

As for what he’s up to now, Hokum is his most recent release. Spearheaded by Damien McCarthy, the film sees Scott play the role of a struggling author who travels to rural Ireland to spread the ashes of his dead parents. He ends up at the The Bilberry Woods Hotel, the place where his folks honeymooned and supernatural horrors await.
